Finally Making the Time For Exercise and Fitness

In order to get fit and healthy, you will need to get a few parts of your life in order. You’ll need to design a good meals plan and workout routine and then stick with it day and day out.
What you want to do right in the beginning (even before you go to the gym for the first time) is create some goals. It’s best to make them relatively easy to get oto and date them for a month or two in the future.
You don’t need to over-think goal setting as it’s really about motivating you to begin. So a goal could be something like go to the gym for 45 minutes, twice a week.
As you get more experienced with goal setting, you can make some long term ones. The problem with these is that they are less motivational when your just starting out so begin with short term ones.
Now that your aiming to achieve a fitness goal, you should start doing some exercise. A great place to go would be a near by gym where you can try out some gym equipment and gain some experience.
Once you know how to use all the machines and feel confident on them, start noting down the ones you enjoy using. What your really looking for is about ten of so exercises (that work different muscle groups) so that they can form the basis of your workout routine.
Next get a diet plan together that includes a bunch of tasty (yet healthy) foods. If you try and force yourself to eat healthy food which you just don’t like the taste of, you risk breaking your diet. So try out lots of health foods and include the ones you like into your eating plan.
To give you an idea, when I was first doing this I tried hundreds of new foods. I used to be heavily into fast food and take-aways but now I live fruits, lean meats and vegetables.
